You can enjoy a journey into a different time and place in the Peak Explorer - Motion Simulator. It is an exciting motion ride and takes you for a trip beyond your imagination to new and wild frontiers. The individual seating allows full axis of movement so you can stop your seat without disturbing other viewers. Open daily from 9:00 am to 10:00 p.m. on Level 4 of the Peak Towers, regular admission HK$45 (adult) and HK$32 (child).
Located at the top of the Peak Tower with the best views of Hong Kong, Restaurant Marche Movenpick offers a wide variety of Asian and western food and drinks. It is open year-round from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm on Levels 6 and 7. The buffet includes: salads, an Asian counter, a sushi bar, Italian pasta, a grill and sweet delights (cakes, mousses, crepes and Movenpick Ice Cream) with coffee or tea.
The world famous Madame Tussaud's waxworks exhibition from London, now a permanent attraction set-up in Hong Kong, has amazed and delighted visitors with incredible realistic wax portraits of the famous for well over 200 years. The Hong Kong Heritage Museum is house in a five story building at 1 Man Lam Road, Sha Tin. It is built around open courtyards, giving it the look of a Chinese Palace. The museum has almost 70,000 items, mostly Cantonese Opera objects and New Territories relics, along with other works of art. The Hong Kong Heritage Museum houses 12 exhibition galleries, including six permanent galleries and a gallery specially designed for children. There are films of famous Chinese Operas depicting costumes, parades and events throughout the year, and one documenting the British transfer of Hong Kong to China at the end of 2000.
